| ProfitZ.nutrients |
Q:
What is ProfitZ. Nutrients?
A: Profit-Z.nutrients
will lower nutrient application in poor soils that have minimal potential
for increasing yields, lower nutrient application in areas with acceptable
yields that have previously been overfed, deliver precise nutrients
in better yielding areas to maintain yields, and increase yields in
areas with the most potential. In poor soils you also have the option
to identify the problems by going to those area by a laptop to hand
held GPS device to see if the area can be helped and how large of
a yield and economic impact those areas pose. |
Q:
Can I compare any type of fertilizer: liquid, dry or anhydrous ammonia
through this service?
A: You
are able to run scenarios on your field before you have to spend one
dollar to make sure you are going to use the right product may it
be liquid, dry or anhydrous ammonia on wheat, corn, barley and other
crops. You are able to view N, P, K and S in these scenarios. |
Q:
Why do it?
A:
The conventional method of applying nutrients at a uniform rate
causes overfeeding of low-yielding ground and underfeeding of higher-yielding
ground. Improved nutrient management leads to improved crop quality
and yield. Profit-Z.nutrients
uses VR nutrient application to optimize nutrient placement on production
areas within your fields, which improves quality and yield while
saving nutrient costs. |
Q:
Can I
use yield data from a combine monitor in the process?
A:
Yes, you can use yield data in this
process. There is different degrees of use of yield data from referencing
to actually using the data as a physical layer in the program. The
degree depends on questions that the ProfitZ representative would
as you in how the data would best fit your developing process. |

| ProfitZ.sugar |
Q:
What is ProfitZ.Sugar?
A: Our Sugar program
uses satellite imagery to define beet top coloration. Precision Partners,
Inc. uses this information to create nitrogen credit zones and, with
your knowledge and plans for the field, generate variable-rate nutrient
application maps.
The Sugar program improves yields and quality in wheat, barley or
corn. In addition, improved nitrogen management creates less lodging
in wheat; leading to less harvest loss and higher quality.

and depressions. Your realistic map will be built layer by layer,
using surface modeling to deliver consistent accuracy. |
